Clearly, they mourn deaths of troops in a different fashion than we do in America - though I probably say with some degree of accuracy to the same extent as we mourn our own losses here at home. Thus, with that as a backdrop Berlusconi operates and can legitimately say a pullout is the goal without being overtly or overly political - or, as I semi-posit, as a result of caving into "popular" sentiment to cover any unrest or unease over his "girls career" (which I might add is an nice infusion into his world - so good for him!).
Thus ends my addendum to my Italy post. Sorry Berlusconi for not doing you full justice in that post before.
